The 35 feet high pyramid of Annaberg`s Christmas fair participates one of the biggest detached pyramids of the Ore Mountains.
On 3 levels, carved and painted figures can be seen, that represent the scientist of mining and doctor Georgius Agricola, Barbara Uthmann, the city-originator of Annaberg duke George the Bearded, the master of calculation Adam Ries, the sacred Anna and Daniel Knappe, symbol-figure for the first silver-finding.
Miners, melter, the protection-saint of the mining, the sacred Katharina as well as making music angels round off the picture.
Into the 4 reliefs of the pyramid-substructure, the Christian Christmas history participates carved.
